Happy Holidays!

Make sure you get a good rest and have lots of fun over the holidays. Also make sure that you make some time to study. Remember - these two weeks could make the difference between a level 3 and a level 4, or even between a level 4 and a level 5!

You might want to look at these sites to help you with your revision:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/ks2bitesize/
http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/interactive/index.htm
http://www.mathszone.co.uk

I'll have a look for some more over the hols and might just post a few up here.

Don't forget to post a comment on the blog if you need some help - somebody will post one back to give you some advice.

Stay safe and have fun!

Hi mr H

I really like the woodlands- junior website especially the games on angles(where you have to use a protractor) and the coordinate games. Also, over the past few days I learnt about the stem and leaf diagram and about the reccuring decimal(which was a bit hard).

Dupe - unfortunately DevTray is a program which runs on the computer in the classroom. I haven't yet found anything similar on the web. Could be another programming project though!

Hi Concerned Gran!

The children all received a bumper pack of practice tests along with a CDROM with some calculation games to play on the computer. They'll be excellent revision stimulus as well as a chance for the children to test themselves out.

If you look on the Woodlands site, there are a number of practice SATs questions that might be useful too.
